The Ultimate Chocoholic Monster Cookies!

I have finally found the cure for the upcoming dreary, cold winter nights; let me introduce you to the 'THE ULTIMATE CHOCOHOLIC MONSTER COOKIES!' Imagine a hot, fudgey chocolate cookie fresh out of the oven and topped with your favourite chocolate;the rich chocolate taste from the cocoa powder combined with the delicate bursts of flavour from the chocolate chips are the only company you will be needing this winter. Make them as big or as small as you want - the world is your oyster!

Carry on reading if you want to know how to make these orgasmic treats...

YOU WILL NEED;
115g unsalted butter (melted)
250g caster sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
275g plain flour (sifted)
100g milk chocolate chips
100g white chocolate chips
3tsp of milk (add more if needed)
200g of your favourite chocolate bar (chopped)

Be sure to pre-heat the oven at Gas Mark 4.

Beat together the melted butter and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
The melted butter will hold all the dry ingredients we will be adding later together.

In a separate smaller bowl, beat together the egg and vanilla extract.

Add the egg mixture to the butter and sugar mixture, and then mix until it is well combined together.
I really could not take a better photograph of that lol.

Add the plain flour and cocoa powder to the mixture and mix it all together.
If the mixture is too hard or too dry at this point then add a bit of milk to loosen it up.

The best bit: add the chocolate chips and fold the batter. Add milk if needed; however, the the cookie dough should be in a solid form so don't add too much.

Now that the cough dough is ready, you get to decide how you want to bake them. You can either make some gigantic cookies in cake tins or use the more traditional method. For the purpose of this blog post, I made one giant cookie (eat your heart out Millie's Cookies) and six smaller ones.
Make sure you have greased all the tins you are using to ensure that the batter won't get stuck!

Leave in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
Leave in for less time if you want cookie dough.
Leave in for longer if you want a cookie with a crunch.

You now have the most beautiful, divine looking cookies ever...but we can make them even better!
Take the chopped up chocolate and gently press it into the hot cookies.
Leave for 5 minutes so as to allow time for the heat from the cookie to melt the chocolate.

Admire your handy work and feel like a domestic goddess...
...but not for too long because you have to eat the cookies while they are still warm!
Feel free to add ice-cream if you want the Pizza Hut experience, milk if you want the childhood experience; or do what I did and just inhale them seconds after I took these pictures.

You can save these bad boys and have them the day after.
Microwave for 15 seconds for a hot cookie but they also taste amazing cold.

What are your favourite cookies?
