Style Inspiration

There seems to be a lot of controversy surrounding Cara Delevinge at the moment; I was waiting for the day that the media started a backlash on everybody's favourite model of the moment. Why is it that people feel the need to build someone up, only to tear them straight down? It seems to be a running trend in society; whether is be friends, family, acquittance or celebrities. 

Drug culture is rife in the model world, so why wouldn't a 20 year old decide to experiment? I don't condone drug use but I love, love, love, love, love Cara D and her fashion, and it saddens me that instead of offering help people are ready to tear her a new one.

I feel that the top picture portrays Cara D; it shows her sense of style but also gives us an insight to how human she is - just like us!

I love the simple statement tee with the pop of green eye liner. This is a look I will be turning to on lazy days over the Spring/Summer period.

I am so excited about the metallics and bling that I have started seeing cropping up in the high street. I probably cannot pull of this look, but I will definitely be rocking the metallics. 

I adore this stripes look. I have a few clothing items in my wardrobe that I used to layer up for the Winter which I can now use for the summer. It's all about the recycling, ladies!

Did I mention my love for metallics? I am amazed that Miss D can look this good with minimum make up, one simple dress and a few accessories. I need her good genes...

This soft hairstyle is perfect for the (hopefully) warmer weather that we will be having in the next few weeks. I am also in love with this brown smoky eye; whenever I do a black smoky eye I just end up with panda eyes (not a good look).

Cara Delevigne always looks polished on the catwalk and events - which models aren't, right? However, it is refreshing to see that there are no pretences to uphold this image when she is out and about in her every day life.
